Dr. Zhimiao Lin, MD, Specialist and chief physician of Dermatology and Venereology Department,associate professor and doctoral supervisor of Peking University.
In 2010, he was awarded the doctor of medicine of Peking University. He is now the associate chief physician and associate professor of dermatology department in Peking University First Hospital. His main research direction is hereditary dermatosis and psoriasis. He was awarded the National outstanding youth, new star of science and technology in Beijing, young talents of colleges and universities in Beijing, etc.
He was the first one to identify the pathogenic genes of Olmsted Syndrome(destructive palmoplantar keratoderma), ectodermal dysplasia and palmoplantar keratoderma with hyperhidrosis. He was the first one to name PLACK Syndrome in the world, and his research in  genetic skin disease is at the international leading level.

Every year, he defines the diagnosis and the mutation sites of pathogenic genes for more than 100 cases of various hereditary skin diseases. Every year, he has successfully helped more than 30 families to give birth to healthy babies and avoid genetic diseases in offspring of genetic families. He is the vice chairman of the Youth Committee of Dermatology Branch of Chinese Medical Association, the deputy head of rare genetic diseases group of Dermatology Branch of Chinese Medical Association.
He is also awarded the National outstanding youth, new star of science and technology in Beijing, young talents of colleges and universities in Beijing, etc.
He has been supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China and Beijing talent program, with the highest impact factor of 12 points.
He was awarded the first prize as the excellent graduate student of Dermatology Branch of Chinese Medical Association, he achieved the Young Scholar Award of excellent talent award program of Peking University Medical Department, he is awarded the new star of science and technology of Peking University First Hospital, third prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award.

He has published a total of 16 SCI articles as the first author or responsible author.
